Who we are
Auburn AI (based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) publishes a portfolio of six content sites. PickinRocket focuses on Canadian sporting goods + consumer products. We publish practical, hands-on reviews written in plain English, with no hype, no sponsored-content smoke and mirrors, and clear disclosure when product samples are provided.

Partnership options
1. Product review (most common)
You ship us a product. We use it for a minimum of 7 days, then publish an honest, hands-on review on the site. The review lives permanently, gets indexed by Google, and continues to drive qualified referral traffic months and years after publication. We do not write paid endorsements. Our reviews are honest – we tell readers what worked and what did not. This consistency is what makes our reviews convert for brands we genuinely recommend.
2. Gear comparison / roundup inclusion
Your product is included in one of our annual buyer guides (for example, “Best Canadian Winter Running Shoes 2026”). These guides rank as Year-over-year evergreen content and drive consistent pre-purchase traffic.
3. Dedicated brand feature
A full-length profile piece on your brand, philosophy, and product line. This is better suited to newer brands or those with a strong story to tell. Disclosure of any material arrangement is required.

What we need from brands
- Realistic timelines. We require 7+ days with a product before publishing. Rush reviews do not serve your brand well.
- Honest expectations. If the product has limitations, tell us upfront. Surprise weaknesses discovered in review weaken your brand more than our frank writeup does.
- Canadian availability details. Our audience is primarily Canadian – if your product is not sold in Canada or ships at a premium, that context matters.
- Affiliate program information. If you have an affiliate program (direct or via network), please include the link. Affiliate commission is how review content stays free for readers.
Disclosure policy
Every review that involves a provided sample or an affiliate relationship includes a clear, reader-visible disclosure at the top of the article. This is required by FTC (US) and Competition Bureau of Canada guidelines and matches our editorial values. Our disclosure policy is published on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
What we will not do
- Fake reviews or reviews of products we have not received and used
- Paid “positive review only” agreements
- Delete or retract honest negative reviews
- Hide affiliate relationships from readers
We want long-term brand relationships built on honest coverage. That only works if readers trust that our reviews are real.
